Plus, the noise from the street was unbearable at night, making it hard to get any sleep. The bathroom door handle was so squeaky that it woke my travel companion every time I needed to go.

The staff at Hotel Montpelier made our stay exceptional. They were friendly and went out of their way to assist with every request. My room offered stunning mountain views, and the breakfast spread was fantastic with plenty of fresh options to choose from. I appreciated the cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel. The location was convenient, very close to the ski shuttle stop, which made getting to the slopes super easy. However, the room could get quite warm at night, and it was hard to find a balance between opening the window for fresh air and dealing with street noise. While the décor seemed a bit dated, the cleanliness was top-notch, which helped a lot. Would recommend for the service and breakfast, but be prepared for some warmth at night.
